5th Tamura Isuke is a painter who uses watercolor pencils.
He was born in Kyoto in 1964.
When he was a kid, he was good at drawing animations that he saw on TV (Mazinger Z etc.).
He entered high school and joined the art club. However, he graduated without studying art and stopped painting after that.
When he was 50 years old (2014), he learned that there was an art school in the neighborhood that taught watercolor pencils, so he entered that school.
He started painting with watercolor pencils between his work.
He has finally gotten good enough to show his artworks, so he will announce it in this exhibition.
