Ange was born in Yamanashi Prefecture in 1964. Since she was little, she has specialized in painting and handicrafts, and won numerous awards in various competitions. Although she did not enroll in an art school, she joined the art department in junior high school and high school. She also enjoys appreciating artworks and her picture books with the works of various artists have been used as “bread for production” textbooks. She moved to Hokkaido in 2012. Fascinated by the vast land of the north, she started painting the landscape. She held four solo exhibitions in Sapporo.

Each and every stroke is placed carefully on the canvas, so that you can smell the landscape and feel the wind blowing through the artwork. She uses acrylic to draw subtle colors and differentiate the transparent and opaque components. The artist name, “Anju” is a name that combines her memory of a ginkgo tree in the garden of her childhood home, which can be said to be where she first said the word “Ange”, which means angel in French.

Her main artistic activities are as follows.
-Received the Grand Avenir Award at the 13th Monaco Japan Arts Festival.
-Selected for the 51st International Open Call Finland Art Award Exhibition.
-Participated in the Japan-Poland Diplomatic Relations 100th Anniversary Exhibition.
-Selected for the 20th Japan-France Contemporary Art World Exhibition
-Invited to the Spanish Art Maison Biennale, exhibition from Heisei to Reiwa.
-Invited to the World Art Dubai 2020 Exhibition.
