Asuka.Ripple is a new Japanese artist, who started her activities in January, 2020. November 2019.
When she visited a Space-themed event, she encountered a spray painting of space for the first time and was mesmerized. December. When she went to get her glasses fixed, there was a spray painter performing right outside the store. With the music blasting, the artist rhythmically expressed their art through their body. Her heart resonated with the performance and tears started streaming down her face. She miraculously encountered it 2 times. It was a feeling of, “you can do this. Do it!” Was it a voice from within? Or a voice from someone that cannot be seen? She took upon this stirred up emotion and began taking a new path in life. The imaginary world that she draws consists of strong, yet soft colors. With the combined motif of Space, Earth, and the spiritual world, her artworks portray positive energies. In 2020, she exhibited at the 20.20 International Contemporary Art Exhibition in the M.A.D.S. Gallery in Italy.
