Hiromi’s Hana Art was born in Okayama and lives in Melbourne, Australia. She has loved drawing since she was little. She knew about healing art through a news article about a woman who used paintings to motivate cancer patients to eat, and wished to be able to draw arts that heal people’s hearts. In 1996, she came to Australia as a student with a son who was 6 years old at that time. She was drawing Australian animals with a pen and watercolor pencils, but was introduced to pastel art by a friend, and realized that the gentle touch and color was for her. Even though she become a Pastel Nagomi Art associate instructor, she wanted to create her own artworks first, so she started posting on Instagram. From someone’s advice, she started little angels’ series. She aims to be a healing artist, and create artworks that allow those who see it to feel relieved. Her artist name, Hiromi’s Hana Art combines her beloved pet, Hana, who is now an angel, and flowers (nature). Now her other passion is photography.
