During COVID 19’s quarantine period, momokei deepened exchanges with diverse people on the internet.
As a result, she emphasized strongly with various genders and the upcoming “era of the wind” – The era based on sensibility and connection with people.
She holds the vision that the future of humankind would transcend existing attributes and transform into a figure with powerful freedom. For this artwork, she depicts the state of new humankind through her speciality of the blurring effect with fountain pen ink and emphasizing the delicate sparkle of lamé (glitter) ink. Blue is the most important color for her, and it represents the calming attitude of watching the flow of time.
momokeiはCO-VID19下のステイホーム期間、インターネットにより多様な人々と交流を深めた。
結果、様々なジェンダーや、これから訪れると言われている「風の時代」 – 感性や人との繋がりを基軸にした時代 – に強く共感している。
彼女は、これからの人類は既存の属性を超え、力強い自由さをもった姿へ変容するビジョンを持った。本作では、彼女が得意とする万年筆インクのぼかし効果や、ラメ入りインクの繊細な輝きを活かし、新人類の有りようを描いている。青は彼女が最も重視する色で、時代を静観する姿勢を表す。

During the pandemic and while only having a small number of relationships in real life, momokei was able to encounter various people with different values on the internet. She came to realize that a quest for value is very important in life.
The two people in this artwork surpass the labels of gender and race. Even though they individually hold different vivid colors (different values), they love each other. This message is what momokei sincerely hopes for.
Emphasizing the curious colors of the fountain pen ink, she dynamically expresses the vision of being physically and mentally close.
momokei はパンデミック下で、生身ではごく少数の人間関係下にありつつ、インターネットでは様々な価値観の人々と交流を得られることを経験した。彼女は、人が生きる上で価値観の探求が非常に大切であると考えるようになった。
本作に描かれている2人は、ジェンダーや人種といったあらゆる枠組みを超え、それぞれにビビッドなカラー（異なる価値観）を持っていても愛し合っている。その姿勢は、彼女が心から願うものでもある。
万年筆インクの不思議な色合いを活かし、彼らが心身共に寄り添うビジョンをダイナミックに描いている。
ink artist momokei
Since she was little, momokei loved drawing and grew up fascinated by her countryside landscape and wild flowers.
She paints with fountain pen inks and pigmented inks. By blurring the fountain pen inks with water, she makes use of the unexpected color effects of chromatography.She also uses a dip pen to draw delicate lines. and uses lamé inks to create a fantastic glow in some parts of the work. She enjoys the effects of using various papers.
Her challenge is to express a soul that goes beyond a form of object.
She is constantly learning to become an artist who finds beauty and inspiration in new thoughts and ideas and in everything she sees.
Her artworks reveal both a search for beauty and a challenge, appearing soft but being strong.
Her artworks are filled with the love that not only goes to the joys of life, but also the transient and the unstableness of life.

全体的にクールで青い世界にメラメラとした炎色のNew Wind、対照的に多様な色で明るい印象の中で異なる二人が寄り添っているSympathizer、何度も上下にスクロールしながら拝見しました。New Windはシャープな目で落ち着いた様子を見せながらも寂しげな印象も感じ、でも持っている熱い想いを炎の花で表現されているような印象。Sympathizerは多くの作品で用いられている青や少ない色で表現されている絵とはまた違って興味深かったです。今後の作品にも新しいテイストが出てくるのかな？楽しみです。ところで、Sympathizerで青で描かれている部分は文字にも見えるし背景にも見えるのですが、何をイメージされているのですか？何かの機会に教えてください。
