LeiKa was born in Osaka Prefecture in 1998.

Since childhood she liked to draw pictures like cartoons. But when she was in college, exposed to a world that she didn’t know existed. She was influenced by various traditional cultures and art (not only drawings, but also ceramics and lacquer wares, furniture and interiors, clothes and accessories, music and so on) at home and abroad, and has designed and drawn with just a mechanical pencil and with an  iPhone app.

She has never participated in an exhibition before, but she’s more passionate about art than most.
She thinks that art is so interesting because it can represent something that doesn’t exist.
And red is a special color for her. Red makes her passionate and excited so she loves it very much.
So she hopes that  you will be excited to see a world that doesn’t exist when you appreciate her art.
