MICHIKO - Alcohol ink art - JCAT artist

Was born in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
As a child, I grew up in Yamaguchi Prefecture and loved the hot spring town where my grandfather’s house was located.
When I was 7 years old, my father transferred me to Kanagawa Prefecture.
When I was in elementary school, I had various experiences including piano, calligraphy, swimming, and abacus. Until now, the world of art has been far away in me.
But I wanted to do something that was hidden in my heart. I want to make this one up.
That kind of thought became stronger every day. In 2020, the world encountered alcohol ink art in this situation. Use the wind to draw at will.
The mixture of colors heals the heart so much. Just looking at the art, I couldn’t understand the style at all. I still remember being shocked that I had never encountered such art before.
From the moment I first came into contact with art, I was drawn more and more into the appeal of alcohol ink art, and now I want to share this wonderful art with many people, not just a part of my life. Her works use more than 300 colors of alcohol ink, yupo paper, canvas, artboard etc…
At that time, many of them manipulated the wind as they wanted and drew with inspiration.
In 2020, she started activities to go get to know alcohol ink art.
The exhibition is scheduled for July and September 2021.
