LET’S WEAR the ART! and let us enjoy our life with jubilance and radiance!

Where do we come from and where do we go?
Life and Death
Spectacular cycles that are ephemeral and myriad
On this omnipotent stage
All the elements that create us living in the present has always existed since the beginning of the universe
Their messages transcend spacetime and talk to us from inside
I capture them as they are in my artworks
Every one of us is
A member of this astoundingly majestic world
Every one of us is
A vortex on a journey

Mitsuko Kume founded “ELCAFLORA”, metamorphising the artworks she painted into fashion.
This is THE ARTISTIC FASHION that evolves when YOU, paintings, and your respective stories unite in trinity. The brand name comes from the goddess FLORA, who brings “E”uphoria, “L”yricism, “C”oruscation, and “A”pricity.
She has pondered the question “why I live in this particular age” since childhood, and became deeply interested in history, especially the ancient Jomon period for its celebration of spirituality and beatific culture. She expresses this image as “JAPANESQUE”.
Ever since, she has sought out sanctuaries, remains, shrines, divine locations, rituals, enigmas, and other spiritual sites throughout Japan. Her experiences resting in eternal landscapes, wandering in ancient times, and having dialogues with fragments -gifts- from our ancestors come together to form her ever-evolving subconsciousness.
All the elements connecting to her transcend spacetime from the beginning of the universe, and are speaking to her from within with their preternatural jubilations. It is then that her hands move freely to draw a picture, simply by channeling this energy as a medium. She has channeled over 400 pieces of artwork to date.
The brand concept “Let us enjoy our life in this moment with jubilance and radiance” shows her supreme gratitude and wish to give back towards all the ancestors who pulsate inside us.
Drawing pictures and spreading delight are how she expresses that felicity.
