Since she was little, momokei loved drawing and grew up fascinated by her countryside landscape and wild flowers.
She is deepening her philosophy of life while paralleling her family life with art production process, and the love is crystallized as artworks.
She creates abstract paintings and canvas artworks, including figurative parts of plants and animals. At the core of her art is the pursuit of line, which expresses the fragility of life, and color effects that exceed her own intentions, such as the blurring effects inherent in dyeing and inks.
She mainly draws with shaded inks, but is expanding into mixedmedia with other materials. This reflects her multitasking nature as a mother, wife, and artist, and is also influenced by the world’s rapid move online after 2021.
As arts that preserve analog memories and stimulates the senses, the canvas works are collaged with grass and soil that she grew by herself, and wool that she dyed and spun by herself.
The works combine powerful challenges to art with delicacy and elegance.

Both of them are really heart-warming visually and virtually. I like 120 with thin line of red strings within knit, feels a small beat of heart. I saw your Instagram, these art are not just front but back is also the part of your story! Very impressed!
