nanan was born in Kamakura, Kanagawa in Japan.
She grew up surrounded by nature, the sea, and the mountains of Kamakura, and felt close to art because of her proximity to shrines, temples, and museums.
Since she was little, she loved to express herself through drawings and creations.
After finishing school, she worked as an office worker and a flower arrangement instructor. Her younger brother appeared on several TV programs and had been widely known in the media as a famous photographer. After his death in 2015, she decided to pursue a career in art in 2019.
Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, and Marc Chagall are her inspirations and she respects their style, which changed through time. She creates artworks inspired by nature and animals. She uses watercolors, pens, pastels, and other drawing materials to draw cats though freestyle.
She exhibited at: “Found Autumn Cats! Vol. 3” (special exhibition in Yokohama, 2019) and “Animal World! —Animal Exhibition 2020—” (special exhibition in Yokohama, 2020).
She is also an active iPhone photographer. Through her artworks, she wants to convey the preciousness and love of for life.
