Sango
At the Rainbow Bridge

Sango was born in Kawasaki, Kanagawa.
A few years ago, she started drawing in honor of her beloved pet dog. She used crayon in the beginning, but is now using oil pastel and watercolors and draws with the background regardless of the medium. Even though she experienced pet loss from the death of her beloved dog, she still felt as if they were living together from the artworks she created of her dog. She believes that physical things, such as the moonlight and wind, evoke memories that make us feel as if they are still with us. She began expressing the world of the Rainbow Bridge that is located somewhere in the universe. This also led her to write poetry with the artworks.
Her main exhibition includes the AAA gallery in the winter of 2019.
She hopes her artworks can touch the hearts of those who love pets with various expressions and those who struggle with pet loss.
