Zenji

Zenji was born in a city right next to Tokyo. He was a boy who spared no effort in his studies and sport activities. While he did not have the best attitude towards art as a young boy, he realized the delight in drawing when he joined a watercolor painting class for fun. Luckily, his unique style was evaluated highly by his teacher.

There are times when you can get a glimpse of the wonders of this world in a casual everyday scenery. He cuts out these moments and expresses them in his artworks.

It is said that God is in the details. He never overlooks the details in a drawing. This is because there are reasons for the existence of everything, such as small weeds, crushed stones, and decaying pieces of wood. It is important to value lines and dots as much as possible, in order to express the presence and vitality of objects. All he can do may be to respect the subject. Zenji aims to complete memorable artworks that will never be forgotten once it is seen.

At midnight while creating, he continuously converses with his artwork and his heart. When completed, a close relationship is built. He will continue to draw carefully, honestly, and tenaciously.
