isomeki was born in 1983 in Furen city, Hokkaido in Japan. He moved to India when he was 8 years old and spent 3 years in Mumbai. He loves and has been attracted to the Indian gods, people, and birds in India. He majored in French literature in university and graduate school. He discovered surrealism in 2002 and was so mesmerized by it, that he started to draw one-stroke drawings with precise techniques. He draws using drawing papers, various types of pens, and pencils.
He draws without deciding what to draw, and lets his hand move freely to create winding lines and intricate structures. The form changes depending on the mental states of those who see his artworks. The purpose of his creation is to reveal something hidden in his and others subconscious mind.
In 2020, he held the first solo exhibition in Sapporo, Hokkaido in Japan where he currently lives. From 2021, he will not only participate in the group exhibitions in Tokyo and France, but also plans to participate in some exhibitions with local artists in Sapporo, and expand his activity all over the world.
