Kino Morimoto

A certain university student was tired of studying for her tests and locked up her feelings of frustration.

These feelings were expressed in the form of beautiful scribbles in the margin of her lecture handouts.

It was really fun. It was like she made a friend who she truly got along with.

From that moment on, drawing became a part of her daily life.

Currently, on a square 7cm drawing paper, which is the size of a palm, she continues to draw her works with those same dark feelings as the driving force behind them.

There are numbers on each one of the works and she waits for the moment that she completes 100 of these drawings to create one work.

Life is not all about fun and games. There are times when we feel frustrated, sad, rushed, or angry.

However, surprisingly, those feelings are not necessarily bad things. That is precisely her goal: to have those who see her work feel such emotions.
