NEKOGASUKINAHITO - Drawing- JCAT artist

NEKOGASUKINAHITO was born in Hyogo Prefecture and has loved to draw since she was little. She was even told that she used to doodle on the walls of her house.
When she was attending Kyoto University of the Arts, she learned about textiles and focused mainly on creating three-dimensional works.
After graduating, she moved to Tokyo for employment, but suffered from depression and became withdrawn from others for about a year. One day, she visited a cat cafe and felt saved. This led her to explore ways to interact with her favorite cats, and start drawing.
She mainly creates with an iPad, but also uses acrylic and other materials.
After finishing a piece, she never forgets to name it. She calls these cats, “Onigiri Cats.”
She, herself, resumed her life after going to that cat cafe.
She would be happy if people from all over the world could see her artworks, get their emotions shaken, and receive a spice in life that would give them a small encouragement in their lives.
