What do you feel when you see Casarin’s paintings? What you feel is a source of new behavior and imagination.
She believes her role is to create a small chance.
Casarin was born in Japan and grew up in an environment where it was difficult to express her heart honestly as a child. This has had a great impact on her current mental illnesses and her artworks.
She was fascinated by oil painting at the age of 12, and started drawing abstract paintings at the age of 20, but she did not work on it constantly. After that, when she got sick, she thought about ”what I can do and what I want to do” and resumed her artistic activities. Currently, she is creating without any focus on specific art materials and methods.
When creating, she values her honest expression of her responsiveness to the events around her and the ever-changing environment.
